We are excited to host bestselling author Imbolo Mbue for a free virtual talk at 7 p.m. March 11!
Mbue is the author of the New York Times bestseller Behold the Dreamers, which tells the story of a young Cameroonian couple making a new life in New York just as the Great Recession upends the economy. The book won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, the Blue Metropolis Words to Change Award, and was an Oprah's Book Club selection.

Mbue's latest book, How Beautiful We Were, tells the story of the fictional African village of Kosawa, whose residents fight back against a foreign oil company that is poisoning their land, air, rivers and children.
